I've been let down by 90% of blind youtube links, I've stopped clicking. The worst period was the anime-music-video phase where every link was some BS gen-x song dubbed over BS anime punching scenes.

I worked and lived in Khabarovsk. Siberia just below the China border. Never could get across with multiple attempts.
Really enjoyed living there except it takes a lot of time to dress in winter.

No, but I've visited. Once in 2008 and once in 2013. The people surprised me, they were friendly and accommodating (90% of the time) while also being incredibly depressing in their outlook and manner.
I have photos if anyone cares.
Edit: I should add that I spent a total of 5 days in Siberia (excluding travel) and only 11 in Russia itself, so I'm no expert of any kind. I wouldn't want to live there but I would visit again in a heartbeat if I had an excuse to.

Obviously the old head cumskin who still calls Zimbabwe Rhodesia thinks there’s CP on YouTube. Not like he ever used the internet for watching anything other than CP.

Nice, I imagine you have a far more holistic view than I do in that case. I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Moscow proper, although I spent a day in Lyubera which is where my travel companion was born. Or maybe it was just where he spent his childhood.

Spent half a year in Noyabrsk in the mid 2000s, just before Sibneft became Gazprom Neft and Abramovich moved to launder his share of the sale in the UK. It signalled the end of my association with the company.
Ironically I now live a stone's throw from the Lakhta Centre, headquarters of Gazprom (and the tallest building in Europe).
