For whatever reason, I can't be bothered. Or I'll try some, but don't like to spend too much, and then just stop. Or I might find the machines or websites annoying with sights and and sounds. They should study what makes some people just not able to get properly addicted.

indeed, any first course in psychology will cover the four principle reward schedules, and tell you how the variable ratio schedule results in the most reinforcement (increase in performing) a behavioar. but apparently I've got a "ahh fuck it" circuit in there
