Topic: How come Hollywood is nothing but toys and games from a millennial's youth?

Anonymous A started this discussion 1 month ago #125,509

Look at all of the high grossing films to have hit cinemas within the past couple of years. Barbie became a smash. The Super Mario Brothers movie became something most cinema goers will remember. Sonic the Hedgehog is still going strong. Now A Minecraft Movie is outselling both the first two former films.

Is this the latest trend in Hollywood? Capitalizing on the nostalgia of millennials, now parents, from their childhoods. It's honestly a weird trend, but kind of a refreshing one. I mean, it's not cape shit or cowboy ass.

It's like millennials are in their 30's and 40's and some of them are in Hollywood decision positions, ooh some wild conspiracy must be going on

Also, we used to have so many movies and TV shows based around toys that we made laws to stop it!

The Beverly Hillbillies used to have entire episodes based around how good cigarettes were!

This shit was everywhere!

In older paperbacks I remember finding inserts for cigarettes also. Usually featured some family camping

"why are entertainment industries catering to the largest generation of consumers right as they enter their prime spending years?"

Probably the Jews.
