They are likely literally 1% of the population. Yet conservatives continue to act as if they're the ultimate threat to the country and humanity as a whole. It's not even like targeting Jewish people who were a massive minority during the second world war. This is literally targeting a group of people that barely even exist. I doubt the percentage would go up if every single egg and closest trans person were to come out.
