I know the firm doing it. They replaced my front door last year. I spent £17k on home improvements last year and £9k so far with just the windows. I'm gonna get my radiators and internal doors done next.

Haha sounds like a big investment but it sounds reasonable, it's a property. These improvements probably even safe guard against things that will destroy your property like mold. Should maybe get that checked, get some air flow improvements and stuff

You ought to find a house in the country that's near a train station. You can go into London whenever you want but avoid the noise in the city.
