It's a survival game with a hunger mechanic that is made redundant within 10 minutes of the game, because the first Pal you can catch, Chikipi, lays unlimited eggs.

surrounded by unlimited spawning chicken and sheeps, and has an enormous supply of wood, stone and ore. I've got a nice little house built and a farm with two Chikipis, firefox, snowpenguin, antlerdeer and mole and my character wants for nothing. I've blatantly defeated the game straight away, there's no reason for me to move on.
