Topic: I don't understand why people cared that the NSA spied on us.

Anonymous A started this discussion 3 months ago #124,674

They likely aren't using any shady tactics or techniques that aren't already available.

We give up our own private life every time we share something on social media.

We never properly taught our children the importance of safety and protecting your own information online.

Hence why cybersecurity became a major risk and subject in the public educational system (still).'

So, why should I worry about the NSA spying on me, when we gave them that power? That's like getting mad at someone overhearing sensitive info all because you were loud about it in a crowded place and they overheard.

It's the very BS we dunked on China for all this time. I'm done with the propaganda; we're not the good guys. I just want to be a peasant in peace at this point.
