They're a generation so beaten down by the system that they actually believe that the federal government of the United States is the deciding factor of what is morally right and wrong. They would even put God underneath the stars and stripes which is a direct violation of the first commandment.

I would think that like most adults, they merely look inward and use their intuition as to what is the good thing to do in any given situation, rather than rely on an authority. If the authority and the acting upon the intuition clash, well that's a risk of living in a society

As long as they played the game (and didn't use social security as their retirement plan), they made out ok. They were supposed to be stacking rental properties, abusing the labor of 18 year olds for minimum wage, and stacking shares of stock before everything fell apart if they were following along.
