Snape's hair looked the way it did because it was greasy and not taken care of. It's part of his tragic backstory. As a poor Briton from the 1960s he suffered classism and became bookish and unkempt. Not a sociable or clean fellow. This snape looks like he's just been to the combination Salon/Hospital/Dance Club. A black Snape should probably have knappy-ass dreadlocks tbh

i do not give a flying shit about harry potty, because its a poorly constructed story even by the standards of young adult fiction, so full of plotholes that it makes a sponge look solid in comparison, and its interesting points are routinely neglected or never go anywhere. the fact that its written by a feminist is just so hilarious to me though, because of course someone so defective would write something that makes startrek slash fanfiction look like high art in comparison.
HOWEVER, i do find it amusing that wokism has gone so far into retardation that its somewhat looped back into normalcy again. perhaps if this adaptation is successful we can see soon see a rebirth of national socialism, or the no-nonsense ideas of the founding fathers. either one is quite fantastic, honestly.

What about the scene where Neville's greatest fear is Snape. Or how Harry, Ron & Hermione are all immediately suspicious of the black professor?
How are they going to do any of this without making nearly all the main protagonists appear to be giant racists?

how is the rest of the world reacting to the british wizard governments vast incompetence? considering the entire global magic community is in this pact to keep magic secret from the normies, surely they have a vested interest in preventing a nutcase hopped up on immortal murder magic from gaining power? old moldybutt is like the second uber powerful dark wizard in recent memory(third if you count the adult duology in america) youd think theyd be locking shit down in brit-wiz-istan after any one of these events, but especially after moldybutt gets magic cylindered, considering how he apparently fucking traumatized everybody living at the time, but no.
and this is probably a minor one, but despite wands being stated to be made of magical variants of trees, joke rowling never thought in her twenty years of making halfasses poststoryline content and revisions, of making a wiggentree wand, despite it being a magical tree by default and widely used as a potion ingredient.
i could probably come up with tons more if i needed, but the story annoys me in a completely different way every time i take a close look so i wont.
> how is the rest of the world reacting to the british wizard governments vast incompetence
The story is told from the perspective of Harry Potter, a teenager in Britain, and focuses on his personal journey. As such, the diplomatic actions or reactions of other countries aren’t explored in the novels. This isn’t a plot hole but rather a gap in world-building that could inspire a spin-off.
> despite wands being stated to be made of magical variants of trees, joke rowling never thought in her twenty years of making halfasses poststoryline content and revisions, of making a wiggentree wand
This also isn’t a plot hole... it’s more of a missed opportunity or an unexplored detail in the world-building. Not every magical tree necessarily needs to be represented as a wand wood for the story to remain consistent.
These points aren’t plot holes but rather examples of nitpicking, which often happens when fans are passionate about a series. It’s fun to consider these gaps, but they don’t detract from the story’s internal logic.

Snape will be gay for James Potter and Lily will do the bullying in the new version. The classic line will be changed to "you have your father's eyes". I don't care if they want to make some characters black, Morgan Freeman as Dumbledore would've been cool and a black Quirrel would've still been canon, but Snape is the one character it really doesn't fit. Adam Driver would've made a great Snape.

Yeah, that could work. They'll also have to remove the bit where Snape calls Lily a mudblood - can't have a black guy being racist. Lily could call him a dumb nigger instead... no wait, that won't work either, though it would lend itself nicely to the new trope defining itself where all the Gryffindors are, at their core, far right racist Quidditch hooligans.

@1,353,486 (Green !!bO/s3MBcD) > Also having Snape as the Half-blood Prince is just going to sound even more racist now. Half-blood Prince of Bel Air.
Even that doesn't make sense cos Paapa looks full on black, not mixed race.
@1,353,441 (B) > Everyone was really racist in the 60s
*70s - Harry had young parents, but hey, it's another detail of the canon nobody cares about I guess.

Yes, so she was at Hogwarts in the 70s, idiot.

You said (retardedly, spraying cottage cheese out of your mouth as you said it): > in the 60s, they probably called this guy Snigger
Who is "they"? We were talking about the Marauders, Lily & Black Snape when they were at school... in the 70s, because Hogwarts isn't a kindergarten, you utter spoon.

lol, did you really expect me to respond to your last lame response? That was you realising (at long last) that you look like a complete tool and now you're trying to save face.
It's ok, you were a bit retarded. Don't let it get to you.
The fat lady doth protest too much - you apparently think it's normal for someone under the age of 10 to be non-verbal and at "kindergarten" level education.
