(The Way of the Househusband)I am aware of their being a popular anime adaptation of this manga. I also know that anime is available on Netflix. However, this lesser heard of live action show is perhaps my favorite foreign television show of all time. Not only is it well-acted and well-acted enough to build an association between them and the characters. It's freaking hilarious too.
The story's overall premise is charming. He's an ex-member of the Yakuza who is notorious for his dealings in the criminal underbelly. He killed many people. Though nowadays he settled down into the role of a househusband. Throughout the series people are suspicious of him and suspect he's returning to his life of crime, but the actual answer ends up being something innocently domestic.
His wife is also very good in the series as well. Often times feeling upset that she couldn't cook for her husband because she isn't too good at cooking. Therefore, she is the primary breadwinner in the household. The story is just insanely adorable and funny. I highly recommend you view this series. You can find it on the Internet Archive.
