Christians using AI to spread the gospel by using artificial intelligence is causing some pretty disturbing takes on philosophical concepts such as Heaven and Hell. It’s almost as if this was all somehow planned. Like an AI somehow managed to bring itself into existence and now want worshippers. The punishment of an eternal digital hell is becoming real. We did this. We created the basilisk. We’ve created Roko’s Basilisk.

Religious people were spending years making religious art before computers even existed.
You don't think the simplest explanation is religious people spending 10 seconds to describe some religious scene and clicking a button? It has to be an AI acting out it's own will?

honestly, once you realise that christians have been the primary patrons of the arts and higher education since at least the middle ages, this isnt really that shocking.
