So I'm throwing some bananas on a pallet, the rule is you gotta take the boxes from a location that has already been taken from. So about 10 banana boxes from a floor level in about 1 minute. Safety enforcer shows up and makes fun of me not using the crane that is slow and costs me money. I need one more box so I'm going to take from a location with safety straps still wrapped around it, safety guy says I gotta take the straps off, that's the rule. I tell him to look around man, it's obvious that someone did as I was about to do, on all of the pallets. He insists though, so I violently use my knife on the straps, and then some more straps. He claimed he had no idea it was that bad, that nobody follows the rules. I told him it doesn't require much other than keeping a eye on it, that's all it requires.
Is it really having you pay excessively because he asked you to remove the straps?
Why are you getting angry over straps on banana boxes, anyway? Don't you know life is fleeting and precious? Why you want to waste time on negative emotions?
I suppose you make a fair point. It's possible that I just don't like being told what to do, in fact I would have done it without him telling me. Sometimes it's just easy feeling picked on I suppose
