I am a professional chef. I spend 14 or more hours per day on a hard kitchen floor, on my feet. I wanted a pair of comfortable, durable, resistant clogs. I researched online, and these seemed the best. I am mostly satisfied. They are beautiful shoes. They look great. They are closed clogs, which offers great protection. They are leather, and thus durable. The leather is coated with polyurethane, and is water, oil, chemical, and heat proof. Great for chefs! The soles are mostly non-slip, and perform well. My only complaint is that the footbed is cushioned with a cork layer. If you drink wine, look at your cork, and tell me, is that a soft thing? No. They do not offer enough cushioning for me. Now, I am a large man, but still, cork is not very pliant. But they footbeds are shaped perfectly, and the arch support is really nice. I would consider this shoe a perfect rating if the cork footbed were softer. Otherwise, a very excellent chef's shoe.
