The idea is that if America can't be relied upon in a future conflict with Putin, then everything should be done to end the warmongering by defeating him in Ukraine. More so than ever since now we are so much less safe than we thought we were. I personally welcome a military build up in the meantime, think maybe it will be good for jobs who knows.(Edited 3 minutes later.)
