Topic: Can someone tell me if a California amended birth certificate has any identifiers?

Identifiers that could serve as evident of being amended. I overlooked my birth certificate and it seems to be similar to the original document, but perhaps I should compare and contrast the two (I have both for my records) to see what could be detectable.

Not really.
The only sign would be the issue date. They'll have a stamped date when that exact document was printed off, and that will be more recent.
Many people lose their birth certificate, or get married, and order new ones. This won't be enough to prove you're trans, although it could be one way to narrow down the list if they were searching.
The most likely way to check would be for them to look through a revision record at the Social Security Administration, if that exists. If California keeps those, it's held by the state, not feds.

Travel to Mexico is ok with the new DMV License. Doubt Catherine can afford travel beyond. Travel into Canada does require the passport.

Is the stamp date the little numbers that are printed at the bottom and/or top of the document? What if it says it was issued in the year of my birth, a couple of months prior to my birth?

So, apparently, the State of California might be one of those states that destroys the original copy of a birth certificate if said birth certificate was amended. I have to conduct more research on this, but that might prove to be beneficial and a hassle at the same time if true.

I have a friend who resides in Spain and has agreed to give me housing. I've known him for about two-years so I think it's safe to say he's not a creep.
