I Admit defeat.
Looks like Russia will win as the US and Russia create a deal that will carve up Ukraine for their own benefit. I shouldn't have been so naive to believe that greed wouldn't triumph.

If it makes you feel better Russia was always going to win. Biden's strategy of "bleed out Ukraine as slowly as possible" was also not a path to victory. As soon as every Western leader announced: "This war is existentially vital for our own freedom...but we're not gonna send a single soldier to help Ukraine fight it", Putin realised he was dealing with people who are not serious. A fatal error with him.
