Dumbledore didn't use Avada Kedavra on Voldemort because it wouldn't have actually killed him due to Voldemort's horcruxes; killing his physical body wouldn't have destroyed his soul which was split across multiple horcruxes, making the killing curse ineffective in the long run; furthermore, Dumbledore's moral code would have prevented him from using such a dark and unforgivable curse
