Topic: American concentration camps

Anonymous A started this discussion 11 months ago #123,968

Trans people have problems getting passport in order to legally emigrate from the country. American citizens getting detained for speaking another language. And the current administration trying to evade criminal consequences. Are we going to start seeing American concentration camps?

pretty sure nobody in this country would stop queeriods from going north or south. they wont actually go in either directions though, because A. those countries have very minimal standards on who they will allow in, and B. successfully doing so would involve coming face to face with the inevitable consequences of their beliefs.

... so because this country is actually the best place for them in all the world, despite actively shitting were they sleep, the queeriods will continue to live in the simmering pressure cooker of their own design...

being a net positive for literal third world countries is not lofty standards at all

You think these minimal standards would kept queer people from entering Canada for some reason?

Millions come into the US unvetted, and half the country doesn't require ID to vote.

Both Canada and Mexico have stringent standards compared to the US.

Canada and Mexico don't just let people walk over and recieve benefits.

They have minimal standards. Pre-trump the US had no standards. Not hard to understand.

The US definitely has always had standards

Also why would minimal standards keep queer people from entering Canada?

Gitmo is already one when Trump sends migrants there. It is literally the definition of a concentration camp.

I find it kind of strange how the last time we've heard anything about Guantanamo Bay, it was near the end of the Obama administration, and how it was the one promise that President Obama failed to keep. It makes me wonder why he wasn't able to close the prison during the eight years he was in office. Then suddenly, Trump gets in there for his first term and we didn't hear anything about it for the next eight years. Biden certainly never mentioned it once. Now we're hearing about it again under Trump's second term in office. It makes me think. Maybe the government isn't so transparent as Trump wishes it to be. However, that is a clear, "No shit, Sherlock," thing.

They are. But in this case, Trump is concentrating people of one particular ethnicity. Auschwitz was a prison, too. Thanks for agreeing.

The vast majority of all of Trump's deportations are latinos, so yes.

There was a report where apparently Trump ordered ICE to stay out of certain areas. Targeting areas with a large black/latino population. Now might be a good time to be an illegal immigrant from Europe.

Not if anyone can make up a story, skip their hearing, and then vote wherever they settle down.
