The Trudeau government's economic policy initially relied on increased tax revenues to pay for increased government spending. While the government has not balanced the budget,
it reduced Canada's debt-to-GDP ratio every year until 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
Trudeau's self-described progressive and feminist social policy
has included strong advocacy for abortion rights. His government introduced the bill that made conversion therapies illegal in Canada. has included strong advocacy for abortion rights. has included strong advocacy for abortion rights. has included strong advocacy for abortion rights.

@1,348,463 (Wikipedia) > has included strong advocacy for abortion rights.
I remember the brown lady tried that in America last year and it turns out that open borders+open abortion is a really unpopular combination.

The point of my reply is that Canada is pro woman's rights and USA under current Republican leadership is Anti Woman's rights.
This and Canada's health care system, would be a Gawd Awful mess for Trump to deal with.

Which has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
Of course Canada is free to decide for itself if it wants to be part of the USA.
Four independent polls have been conducted since Trump made is move to annex Canada and Canada says NO NO NO NO

It still amazes me that they recognize the King-Queen monarchy of England. When looking at which way Canada leans I find this:
"The Liberal Party is the longest-serving and oldest active federal political party in the country, and has dominated federal politics of Canada for much of its history, holding power for almost 70 years of the 20th century. As a result, it has sometimes been referred to as Canada's "natural governing party".
So mixing this with Abortion Health Care - Trump clearly had/has not clue which way Canada leans.

I can see a number of problems with that. Each state would get two Senators and of course Congressman. Canada being a very Liberal Country; adding more states would not be beneficial to the Conservatives.
Crimea voted 3 times to be part of Russia. It's ethnically Russian.
They were only part of Ukraine because a Soviet Premier decided on his own to give it away as a birthday present to Ukraine. That's no way to set international borders, the people have a right to self-determination.

Aesthetics? Not easy to locate Road Island is it.
Now I agree All of Canada would overwhelm as one state. It's a good thing Canada does not want to join the USA.
