I mean, is that all? The NPCs... they don't do shit. They just wander around like cows. They don't build shit either, they just walk around and look at stuff. They don't even attack you when you try and kill them. I dug a hole in the ground and herded a bunch of them into it and blew it up with tnt and they didn't even try and stop me! They don't even attack enemy mobs!
Why can't I recruit them to follow me and fight with me and shit? Why can't I become their leader? They should carry weapons and shit and patrol whatever fucking gigantic palace I build to defend their crappy little villages. At the very least the villages should be hostile towards each other or something. What are they supposed to be? Monks or something? If I steal their crops do they even plant new ones? They sure as hell don't fix anything you burn down. I thought they'd be active farmers and miners at the very least! So far I can't find any reason not to just slaughter the lot of 'em.
