While they used untold amount of resources to play with the GUI, putting in and later removing visual gimmicks like the transparent glass windows effect, the little but annoying Notepad word wrap bug persisted.

With Windows 11, they redid Notepad, but introduced a completely different Notepad word wrap bug. If you wanted to turn off word wrap by default, your setting would not be remembered later. Good job, shitheads. You really AIed youself there.

maybe for programming little scripts and they couldn't be bothered to get a text editor more suited to that task
