Topic: Does anyone know anything about Half Life 2: Episode 3 (Half Life 3)?

Is is going to be the next Duke Nukem forever? Half Life 2: Episode 2 came out in 2007, and pretty much had no ending and just left everyone hanging. We're going on 4 years now, and I can't stand it anymore. I can't find any news or release information for this game. It's like Valve tried to just slowly and quietly shut it down, while distracting their fan base with Portal, Left for Dead, Left for Dead 2 and Portal 2. Well, I won't be so easily distracted. I demand an ending.

Portal 2 will be released in 2011. DotA 2 will be released this year too. Team Fortress 2 is still going strong, so their only options would be a third Left 4 dead or the episode, or a new ip altogether. So this is the last year when I honestly expect them to actually announce anything. If they go with a second L4D sequel, I will just assume that they're trolling us hard.

how much farther could they even take left 4 dead? it's fun but relatively simple, there's not much you can do with it

I'd buy another sequel. New levels and a few more features/gimmicks would be nice.

And I just love left 4 dead.

lol I still play the first one, it's a blast and runs well on almost any modern hardware. it might be cool to see a third one but new weapons/characters/levels would be the only difference
