Topic: Thoughts on 15 minute cities and freedom cities

Notice that both the left and right are arguing for new kinds of cities. What do you all make of this?

I think there's nothing wrong with having all the conveniences close at hand. There is a conspiracy that it would lead to travel restrictions, but I think that's bunk.

What do you think of freedom cities? @previous (B)

> Never heard of them.

Idea has been floated by certain Republicans. Think like techno feudalist libertarian city states.

15 minute cities are good. Freedom cities sound dystopian just based on the name

Lol your probably right. I doubt it would be very good unless one was the one running the place.

I've looked it up and they just sound like 15 minutes cities.

Had to Google this because I've never heard the term. So it seems that freedom cities are just a way for musk to siphon more takepayer dollars for his companies to research flying cars that will never actually be made.

15 minute cities (i.e. "cities" in the rest of the world) are wonderful and functional, and there are no "travel restrictions". Americans are some paranoid motherfuckers.

Yeah Musk and people like Peter Thiel and the rest of the silicon valley types and their puppet J.D Vance want techno feudalism. Some of them are disciples of Curtis Yarvin who heavily pushes for this goal and who along with another man named Nick Land created the modern Neoreactionary movement or as it's often called the Dark Enlightenment.
