I guess it really was a Roman salute.

Aren't those the kids who worked out how to read a 2000 year old burnt scroll that no one else could?

And @OPenis asked an underaged girl for pics of her vulva.

Yes! One of them was. Luke Farritor, along with two other guys (who AFAIK aren't involved in the DOGE stuff), developed a method to virtually unravel burnt Roman scrolls found in Herculaneum.

I can't say I'm a fan of his current work, but he did do a great service for Roman history.

Do you think one of the reasons for them being smeered is because they'll understand government documents more then the previous people in charge?

How are they being "smeered"?

Mainstream media are calling them too young and criticised one of them for calling himself "big balls" online.

I don't see any "smeer". Too young is an opinion, and the "big balls" moniker is the truth.

I mean these kids have no substantial experience doing accounting or auditing of any kind, especially not government accounting, so letting them run wild across the US government seems ill-advised.

If we have career professionals doing the work then we do not need 21 year olds there learning what double entry bookkeeping is for the first time.

Any corruption that isn't accompanied by an email that says FW:Re:Re:Bribe Payments to Zambia will likely be missed by these people so I am less sanguine on them finding anything of import.

You would think this is common sense, but in today's world, this is actually quite a controversial opinion. Should we let inexperienced amateurs lose on important government systems, because their boss is friends with the President? Well, it's really debatable!

Fucking christ.

I'm old enough to remember when Trump hated Musk and tried using the courts against him.
