Topic: I hate it when companies essentially force you to use Microsoft web browsers?

Now don't get me wrong. I like Microsoft Edge, but I hate being forced to use it. My workplace has a portal that can be accessible using any web browser, but it's one of those things were certain features would work like ass that it prompts the user to use Microsoft Edge for better functionality.
What the fuck is this shit? I don't want to be forced to open up the pre-installed browser just because your web development team can't fucking fix a god damn bug that causes your shitty portal to work right on more mainstream browsers like Chrome or Firefox.

I'm sure you haven't really thought about this, because you never really look beyond your own narrow perspective, but it takes time and effort to make a webpage work correctly on different browsers. There's no point in doing that, when the browser that everybody has can be targeted for development.
Edge is one of the best browsers for performance and memory management, by the way.

It's not even that the web app doesn't work on other browsers, they just don't want to pay someone to test them all, when they're already paying Catherine to just to use Edge.
