Topic: Would Michael Jackson’s career survive the Cancel Culture era?

Nowadays, anyone who even conducts themselves in the slightest in inappropriate manner is canceled for all time. Back then there was a trial and the media constantly making jokes about the accused, but even after ward people still speculate on if he did it. Just like OJ Simpson.
If Michael Jackson was alive today, would his career survive Cancel Culture?

I feel like even if he didn't molest those boys (and I believe he did) He used wildly horrible judgement in how he treated them and the backlash

The way it works, the monied elite are free to be dispicable, while anyone in proximity gets cancelled. Recall Trump's pussy comment that resulted in a reporter getting fired for being in proximity. Lately, Elon's fucked up salute gets a weather reporter fired for making a really mild comment in a personal social media area that was supposed to be limited to a circle of friends.

I believe he was obsessed with his own lost childhood and wanted to experience it vicariously. I think he genuinely loved children and would never have done anything to hurt them. Also I think he felt betrayed when the accusations came out, hence his behaviour.
