When you’re out at sea on a boat, because of the high salt content of the water, even though you’re surrounded by water, the air can actually get pretty dry. There are some cases where people went out into the ocean alone on their own boats, died from a heart attack or something, and then only a few days later their bodies are completely mummified. It’s pretty gross but you can find pictures of it.
