Stalin is worse than Hitler, because at least Hitler was organized and consistent in who he ordered to be murdered, and why he ordered them to be murdered. Stalin had people murdered according to his whim, and murdered a lot more people.

They don't collect any data that Facebook wouldn't also have. It's just the sites you visit online, who you follow, which comments you wrote, which posts you interacted with, biometric and object tracking data if you ever give it access to your cameras (For using AR filters), which items you bought, your inferred location, payment information if you ever submitted it, et cetera. Just the basics for operating a web service in 2024. If it's good and moral for the NSA to know all of this, then what's the harm in also letting the CCP know? In fact, I'm less upset about the CCP collecting data about me, because my relationship with the CCP is different than my relationship to a government that I am subject to.
