indication: HELICOPTER OPERATIONS (For helicopter transfer/vertical replenishment signals, see Article 3102.)

normally displayed: Where best seen.

AT DIP: meaning: I am ready to operate helicopters when wind conditions are suitable.
DIPPED after being close up: meaning: My helicopter operations have been delayed temporarily (about 10 minutes).
CLOSE UP: meaning: I am operating helicopters.
HAULED DOWN: meaning: I have completed operating helicopters.
