Utter bunk, written and edited by drooling morae whom know nothing of the world outside their own trailer parks. England lacks its own devolved government, and is therefore even less of a "country" than the UK region known as Scotland is. Thanks.

The English parliament is the British parliament because the United Kingdom is a unitary state. England technically is unequal, but you have the inequality of it kinda backwards. The UK is dominated by England not the other way around.
"The Parliament of England was the legislature of the Kingdom of England from the 13th century until 1707 when it was replaced by the Parliament of Great Britain."
"The Acts of Union, passed by the English and Scottish Parliaments in 1707, led to the creation of a united kingdom to be called “Great Britain” on 1 May of that year. The UK Parliament met for the first time in October 1707."

Exactly. There is no Parliament of England, ergo, England is, in fact, not a country. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks, and, again, thanks. Thanks.

…because the parliament of England was *replaced* by the parliament of Great Britain. The parliament of Great Britain didn’t conquer England, the English parliament became the British parliament because the UK is a unitary state where England dominates in terms of economic power, population, and political power. England isn’t oppressed because they don’t have a parliament. That’s an insane take.
