or technology? For instance, there's a whole fandom for customized "mechanical" keyboards with special switch designs. Or there's the aficionados of the second version of IBM's Model M. And there's almost universal disdain for what they call dome keyboards that have a rubber sheet in the keyboard.

I like the mechanical keyboards, so long as you can turn down the RGB silliness (not into that). Using one of the Logitech G series keyboards right now with the white backlighting and I'm pretty happy with it.
I also like those little bluetooth keyboards for tablets or whatever - I just think it's cool tech, same with using a stylus. Anything beats pecking at a screen with greasy fingers.

I just read on Lenovo's Saudi Arabia site that you could set RGB to change according to the temperature of the CPU, or tell you about WIFI status. I guess that's something. *shrug*
