I did, but you can see how algorithms bring views can't you? Those child models are in a sense sort of like not treated good by that algorithm and do keep in mind it doesn't just have to be child models, all the children on it.

I don't think TikTok is being banned, at least for Android users. I assume that the play store and app store are being told to not provide it to phones in the united states. So just download the app and install it. I don't think tourists in the US are having their TikTok accounts blocked.

Totalitarianism is inevitable with time given technological progress. They can already track every single license plate entering and leaving a city using computer vision. I have a feeling the only reason why the government is pushing "freedom of speech online" is so they can get everybody to tell on themselves publicly with their name attached before they take the next step and act on all the information they’ve collected.
(Even if nobody is consciously planning for this to happen, I think inevitably that’s how it’s going to turn out. It won’t actually be that different from China despite how much everybody has been told to hate China.)
