Topic: I just saw Nosferatu

It was a far less horny movie than advertised

Well there's always Brad Pitt and Tom cruise playing vampire in "interview with the vampire"

Now that's a movie that should have been twice as long

Was it good?

What horror film do you think is great?

oh not much, what's nosfera with you?

I really liked The VVitch. The same people did Nosferatu

I also wasn't a fan of the ultra disgusting vampire design. The Renfeld type character was very enjoyable

And I believe that a good deal of the dialog could benefit from subtitles

I'd say this movie is more atmospheric than scary

Im going to watch it again when it comes out on streaming

Kook !!rcSrAtaAC (OP) quadruple-posted this 1 year ago, 3 minutes later, 12 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,336,624

Nicholas Hoult was in it and I think he's a pretty good actor. I also like how far apart his eyes are

Kook !!rcSrAtaAC (OP) quintuple-posted this 1 year ago, 2 minutes later, 12 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,336,625

Lily-Rose Depp the nepobaby, was the other lead. She did fine. Periodically in the story she would sieze violently and she acted that very well. Those were probably the scariest parts of the movie for me

They gave her a yeeyee ass haircut

Kook !!rcSrAtaAC (OP) sextuple-posted this 1 year ago, 11 minutes later, 13 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,336,627

William Dafoe was on it and I always really enjoy him. He plays every character with subtle to high key levels of craziness. I was very excited when he popped up

Kook !!rcSrAtaAC (OP) septuple-posted this 1 year ago, 1 minute later, 13 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,336,628

People also made a big deal about this movie showing vampire dong and it was such a let down. They should have just pulled out Willem Dafoes real life, big ass dick

I forgot to respond to your comment. I agree completely!

Anne Rice can write a horny vampire very well

I went on a tour of her house once and she fled in an antique limo wine she saw people

It's one of those movies that women aren't going to fully understand.

It wasn't a complicated movie at all. I dont know what type of nuance you think was involved

Kook !!rcSrAtaAC (OP) double-posted this 1 year ago, 1 minute later, 13 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,336,632

Seeing the historically accurate ways of handling physical illness and mental illness was interesting as well. At one point a character is violently seizing and they shout that they need to tighten her corset haha

Seems like it was complicated for you

Maybe spend less time trying to scare the attention whores, and read an actual book...thanks

At one act of the movie, there are plague rats everywhere and they used real animals and it came across as really cool and disgusting. The noises they made were vile

Is it weirdly shaped like a bad dragon dildo or is it just a normal penis that’s grey? Also, is his penis erect?

Its a normal, flaccid, uncut, grey penis

Ok I saw it today and it was good. I liked the ending.
@previous (H)
Lies, the Herzog one I would believe but the silent film while interesting as a piece of film history is not entertaining for the sake of entertainment.

> It was a far less horny movie than advertised

I agree wholeheartedly. I was expecting lots of titties and hot vampire brides of Dracula. The only sexy chick was the girl on the horse the gypsies used in the ritual to locate the vampire in the graveyard.

Anonymous G triple-posted this 1 year ago, 1 minute later, 2 days after the original post[^] [v] #1,336,923

Also the vampire was not scary looking and was just ugly. They just made him look like a rotting dead person.

That's how the original vampires were. It's accurate.

I should rewatch that

Have either of you seen Renfield? Nick Cage plays Dracula nd Nicholas Holt (the same main male actor from Nosferatu) plays Renfield
