Topic: Quantum physics is a hoax for narcissistic middle class sweats.

Flawed experiments and incoherent theories, espoused by an all-jew network of "academics" leeching off of public education funds would have you believe that particles have no set position.

Their evidence? The particles are so small that their instruments interfere with the results they are measuring.

Here's a thought eggheads: just because you can't figure it out, just because it may be impossible to figure out, does not mean that particles are not in a set place.

Defunding physics is the answer. Millions of pretentious unproductive physics grads, but how many ever discover anything new in physics? 0.0001%.

You must be a Trump supporter.

so like, quantum computing. what even is that

95% of the people on this planet are not Americans, but that 5% seems to think everyone else is Americans just like them. Think before you speak, child.

I don't care if you're American. You still support Donald Trump if you think quantum physics is fake.

A technology that does not rely on the idea of a particle never really being in any one place.

A ball can spin. One particle of that ball, the smallest particle possible, can also spin. Quantum computing uses that principle to compute in a new way that is more efficient than traditional computers.

Some parts of quantum science are just common sense, real physics. Some scientists do real work involving that science. Most of the published work in quantum mechanics is just nonsense that real scientists don't have the time or inclination to dispell.

Classic computers (like we're using) use bits to process information. A bit can be a 0, or a 1.

Quantum computing uses qubits that can be a 0, a 1 or both all at the same time. They also use a process called entanglement, which allows qubits to be connected in a way that is very powerful for certain tasks.

I don't follow American politics, it's just decadent capitalist psychopaths paying marketing teams to enrage the people.

Certainly Trump will not dismantle the physics departments, he is part of the same system that produces that incoherent nonsense. The powers that be want to distract people with any form of entertainment and shiny fads so that they cannot develop a class consciousness.

so like, what is the qubit made of in the chip

Superconducting materials (the Google one uses this), or trapped ions, or optical splitters on silicon, or there's a cool one that is a synthetic diamond with specifically engineered flaws. It's highly experimental so there are a bunch of different methods. Google and IBM swear by the superconducting materials chip type, but the weakness is it has to be kept at almost absolute zero to work. There's some Japanese lab doing the ion trap thing, but it's supposed to be not as powerful.
