Position 5. I have waves of neasea anytime I eat something. I have had 3 hours of sleep this night because of vomiting. This has been my life for a week.

Appointment at 10:40. I'm hacking up phlegm and coughing until my lungs ache. I am often choking on thin air and struggling for breath. My throat is burning from the stomach acid last night.

Day 1 update. The amoxillins have made me feel tired. However, the lansoprazole is doing a splendid job of combatting the nausea. I also bought some of those electrolyte drinks things because someone said it would be a good idea. They taste like lemons.
Soon comes the first test, which is to say bedtime. Will I sleep normally this night?
I slept okay, some discomfort but really not as bad as any other night so far. I have a night ritual of putting an audiobook on and I've Pavlov trained myself to fall asleep to them.

So an update on the Great Illness Saga.
I've finished my antibiotics and it's basically calmed down the worst. I do still cough a bit, but I've been doing that for months so it's nothing new.
I have had crazy insomnia, though. Last night I had no sleep, the night before I had 3 hours, the night before I had 4 hours, the night before I had no sleep, the night before I had 2 hours. So that's 9 hours in 5 days.
I think the antibiotics have disrupted my microbiome and it's causing strange behaviour. The days I've had no sleep are days I've ordered food, so I'll be stopping that for a while.
