Was hoping he would get away with it. I wonder if the police put this much effort into every murder?

High Profile is just that.

Do you think the police put this much effort into the murder of some poor black prostitute?

> According to police, Mangione was born and raised in the state of Maryland and has links to San Francisco in California and Hawaii's capital Honolulu.

> His social media lists him as being from Towson, a well-to-do area to the north of the city of Baltimore. He is said to have attended Gilman school - a private all-boys school in the city.

> Fees cost up to $37,000 (£29,000) depending on the age of the student and the school boasts an impressive list of alumni, including businessmen, NFL stars and former state senators.

LMAO all those internet commentators who were talking about working class rising up against the rich are going to be doing pretzels in their head now.

Yeah, this is why I don't like to jump to conclusions about motives in cases like this. Motives for a crime can be very idiosyncratic, him being a wronged working-class man who was out for revenge is a good story, but it wasn't accurate.

Granted, he did seen to be motivated by anti-corporate sentiment, so the anti-rich angle isn't completely off-base, but it's not like people were assuming.

People were talking like "THE REVOLUTION IS NOW", "THE WORKING CLASS ARE RISING UP AND TAKING WHAT'S THEIRS" and it turns out to be a trust fund private school college educated techbro business owner LOL

The police will make a lot of these, take the best and try to convince a jury of their hoax. Luigi is innocent.

Here's a photo of Luigi in a holding cell. Does he even look like ANY of the random white guys that were supposed to all be the same guy?

They look nothing alike, but these cops have been doing the same shit for years and get away with it. That culture leads to lazy arrests like this.

It's tragic and 12 dull people will watch a deepfake and declare him guilty.

It's just a coincidence he has the gun and a manifesto and like five different fake ID and ten grand in cash

It is not unfathomable that a plain clothes cop planted those items on Luigi and forced him to standby for arrest by the bodycam wearing officers. Reasonable. Doubt.

@previous (I)

It's not unfathomable that a plain clothes cop would manufacture a bunch of fake IDs and log onto all his accounts to express anti-corporate views and deepfake the CCTV footage to include his face?

Anonymous D double-posted this 1 year ago, 21 seconds later, 21 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,333,667

I mean if we're talking Occam's Razor here then look at the situation

Anonymous I replied with this 1 year ago, 2 minutes later, 21 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,333,668

@previous (D)
Occam's Razor doesn't apply in a criminal trial. Proof beyond a reasonable doubt is the bar that must be cleared. It's 2024 and all of that "evidence" can be manufactured, yes.

@previous (I)

There is not yet no criminal trial, and you have no proof that there was a vast conspiracy by a gang of mysterious "plain clothes cops" to frame this random guy and it's weird that you think that's more likely than that he shot the CEO of the company that wouldn't cover his broken back.

I don't need proof of anything to have a reasonable doubt. Thanks.

Anonymous D replied with this 1 year ago, 8 hours later, 1 day after the original post[^] [v] #1,333,808

@previous (I)

I don't think you understand what the word "reasonable" means. "The NWO might be executing a professional frame job involving AI and a legion of unnamed "plain clothes cops" on this guy for no reason" is not reasonable.

> The NWO might be executing a professional frame job involving AI
Tools to do this by pressing a button already exist.
