He won't do it, and if he did Congress would never pass it.
It would be great if he could, social security is bigger than defense. The dollar would go a lot further, and removing FICA taxes would give even more spending power to people. Taking the dead weight off payroll taxes would make work more appealing and force layabouts to find a job when SS checks stopped coming in the mail.

Taxing their income and they'll pass the costs to consumers or move.
I work for a living, so "get a job" isn't an insult.

A 90 year old woman had so much financial opportunity that there's no reason she needs assistance. Spending all your money, and then expecting the next generation to bail you out when you don't save is shameful.

Starlink isn't even being subsidized because of lobbyists from "competing" companies and corrupt FCC leadership. They don't need it, but fair is fair and if the others are getting it so should SpaceX. The rocket side of the business doesn't need subsidies either, nor does Tesla's automotive division. He has always said he doesn't want these industries subsidized; but don't you agree it would be retarded to not take the money? Not taking it would just leave it there for some other major company which also don't need it.

Also, where is the 98% broadband coverage we were promised by Comcast and friends? It was never built. Money pocketed. For decades! Starlink fixed it in just a few short years, and suddenly now
that the Starlink service qualifies for subsides there's a rug pull and some retards want to argue that it isn't "real broadband Internet". I guess Elon forgot to pay the Big Guy 🤣
