A revelation must be made.
To keep everyone sane.
The battle of two churches.
Each burdened with infamy.
But there shall now only be one.
So make your decision clear.
Do you pick the one with many wives?
Or the one raping alter-boys?

The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (also referred to as the FLDS Church) continues to practice polygamy.

The Pedophile Catholic Church is most famous for the rape of alter-boys.

One may assume the multiple wives also take intimate care of each other when the husband is busy in the bedroom with the chosen wife of the day.

The problem with polygamous communities is that they're aren't enough women to go around. So they like to kick out young men when they're in they're early twenties and sometimes even teens

Is this also the case for liberal secular societies where several women are in an informal harem of one man?

Its odd to compare "several women" to giant compounds of people

And no, polygamous liberal groups aren't kicking out minor males

God you're so stupid, Karen

So in a liberal secular society where some men have multiple women, it is possible for the remaining men to each find a woman? Are you sure about that?

Mathematically that doesn't make sense. The population is born 50/50, so if some men have multiple women, then certainly there will have to be some men that don't get a woman.

You're view here seems to be that the math changes based on whether there's a book of mormon involved, and I don't think that actually factors into the math.

Nice strawman, pretend that I said it was happening at the same rate, and pretend I said something about minors being kicked out.

Here's the actual question kook won't answer: Can every man find a woman in secular liberal society, when that society normalizes a minority of men having multiple women for themselves.

The answer is NO, that would be mathematically impossible.

Anonymous M replied with this 5 days ago, 2 hours later, 7 months after the original post[^] [v] #1,373,777

@previous (Kook !!rcSrAtaAC)
You don't know what "strawman" is, because this doesn't fit that at all.

A strawman is when someone makes a fake argument for you, and argues against it.

I didn't do that, I simply asked if you would be consistent and admit that secular liberal society also creates a situation in which many men could never find a wife. First you avoided answering- Next you agreed with me, and called me a moron for the view we both hold.

Yes it is a strawman

In no society has every man been paired up with a woman

Also, we are talking about a cult that kicks out boys, who are minors, because old men want multiple wives

Men really don't give a shit about other men and you're proving it

> Yes it is a strawman

If it's a strawman, what argument did I make up on my own and attribute to you?

> In no society has every man been paired up with a woman

Amish society works that way today essentially. Obviously there are people who die before they have the chance, but the norm is for everyone to pair up monogamously.

> Also, we are talking about a cult that kicks out boys, who are minors, because old men want multiple wives

Yes, and that's beside the point that I was making. No one is arguing otherwise.

> Men really don't give a shit about other men and you're proving it

I'm proving it by saying society should be monogamous and everyone should have a chance for a partner? Wouldn't I be saying the opposite if I didn't care?

Child molestation and raping animals is also common in Amish society

And Amish society also casts out young people who won't conform

Men have never been monogamous

Just as one desires variety for breakfast lunch and dinner. Men desire the differences, other women offer.

I fell in love with a man who came from a Mormon background. Not sure if he still is though, but I swear he started playing a kind of hot and cold game of love that teaches me life lessons. In my blind love, I may have broke the protocols of the company he worked for and I used to work for, and one thing led to another and I may have been wrongfully terminated due to my distressed mental state. I’ve taken the proper measures so don’t worry about that. Regardless, I have suspicion that he may have fell for me too in the two years since I confessed my feelings for him. Now I have no way of contacting him. I would assume this means he doesn’t want to talk to me, but this might sound crazy, I think he’s watching me type this message right now as I think he’s living rent free in my phone and my head. How should I get a confirmation? Note: This should be directly from him.

Because I wasnt saying that any society didnt have those things

And bringing up the Amish is pointless as well. Behold a community where incest levels are so rampant that they have genetic disorders rarely seen outside of their groups, that molest children, that rape animals, that cast out people who are different

But at least their monogamous on paper!

Men will traumatize women and then still expect them to produce and raise children

Men will bust in crazy women with no thought as to what happens next

Men will beat their wives and girlfriends in front of the children and the mens friends, family, and the courts will still say he's a good Dad. Even the abused woman's friends and family will suggest she not leave
