Pretty sure you uploaded a WebP image (the "new" image format from Google). Minichan doesn't support WebP uploads.
When you download an image from certain mobile apps (like Facebook and Reddit), lately, you get an image with a .jpg or .png extension regardless of what the underlying format actually is. So you'll have a WebP image named cocks.jpg that is unusable anywhere WebP isn't supported.
