...then how come there are scheduling conflicts at all? Shouldn't a perfect system operate efficiently with one another? Like if you have to rent a car to go to an appointment, then shouldn't different fields work alongside one another?

Renewable resources aren't infinite. Renewable resources also don't mean your dentist's office coordinates with the taxi cab company and airline to make sure you get there on time. If you want that you can hire a personal assistant to do that for you but it ain't cheap, and if you're posting here you don't have the money or professional success to necessitate it

While it's important to remember past and failed solutions, we ought to continue to improve and so the faults of a society must be exposed and made aware of before improvements can be made. I think we do a poor job of this, we be like the men in those caves who know nothing else and so nothing is seen as needing improvements.

We tried making capitalism smarter and now we have landlord bots that raise housing costs for all of us instead of giving us the best deal. Look at that! The efficiencies are passed on to the ruling classes! AI is about to kick our collective asses.

If being a landlord is that profitable it will attract investors. When investors put their money into it, that pays for new development. More developments means more place to live, and more businesses competing. Tenants should want many businesses competing to provide housing.

That's how it would work under pure capitalism, yes.
