Yes, "sushi" means "vinegar rice" and actually refers to the rice. While you are certainly technically correct, my post was not meant as s lesson on culinary nomenclature. I just wanted to know if people liked the cuisine.

The post was about our favourite forms of sushi, sashimi is a completely different dish of which many forms exist also.
