Topic: Does anyone know how long it'll be before we start losing our gun rights?

Guns are already quite difficult to obtain with gun control laws put forth by the Democrats and expensive price walls. All designed likely to keep the poor and marginalized unable to access firearms.
This recent administration has made me appreciate my second amendment rights, but if Trump and his posse is trying to siege control over the entire government. Something tells me I'm going to have to exercise said rights before they're taken away.
There is no chance in Hell that guns won't be even more difficult to acquire during the next four years. Many of the non-pussy liberals on the left are starting to recognize the importance for gun rights. It's amazing how this hot blooded issues hasn't been a primary focus in elections of the past and only brought up for a couple of days following a shooting somewhere.
I know next to nothing about firearms, but can someone give me some pointers on finding the best gun for personal defense?

Most school shootings occur ahead of Mid-Term Election seasons and during presidential election campaigns. Outside of those windows, they are relatively rare 🤔

Priced out is a concern, not a cheap hobby anymore.
I know it's out of fashion, but revolvers are no-nonsense self defence weapons. Just pull the trigger. No racking slides, no safeties, less jams.
.38 special is the caliber here. Anything bigger is usually for hunting game.
If you're covering property outdoors, shotguns win out for the extra range/accuracy.

Fucking dumbass thinking who’s sitting in an office chair actually matters when it comes to school shootings.

I was thinking of a pistol like a revolver. I’m just scared to enter a gun store since most of them tend to be ran and managed by starch conservatives who might not take kindly to seeing me in there. Then again, a friend of mine did work at Turner’s. Maybe I’ll start there.

Biden could declare a national emergency tomorrow and send the national guard to all schools, but you've never even considered what options the U.S. President has available to combat these issues. "Taking your guns" isn't going to happen. You're just a complainer.
