Topic: Why do people queue to vote in America?

It seems odd. Innthe uk you can either post your vote or you just turn up at the poll station somepoint during the day and cast your vote without queueing

You can do both. The reason there are lines on Election Day here is because normally the people who work in the polling places are old volunteers and part time workers getting paid minimum wage who are dumb and slow

Americans actually appreciate queuing. During a trip to inner England in 2015 I passed through a crowd after a soccer match and everyone was running around without any manners and almost ran into me several times.
