Topic: How do I convince my mom to let me bring a bag of drink mix to Thanksgiving dinner later this month?

We were recently given a bag of drink mix. We sampled all the flavors and they were WAY too sweet for our tastes. Thanksgiving is coming up and I would like to give the bag to my younger cousins (all teenagers and young adults) as a gift. My mom won't let me, though. How do I convince her??? We don't want it to go to waste!!!!!

I have a sad potted plant my roommate won't get rid of. It's had a few drinks in its day. It's also had ants for some reason.
