Topic: They said I could become anything, so I became a fascist.

I voted for Clinton, Biden, and now I’m voting for Trump.

What is the cause of my rightward shift?

Fascism envy. The idea that fascists have a good time, get lots of pussy and eat the sweetest cakes.

I agree with a lot of the points on the left, but watching them embrace emotion over reason, scream down anyone who disagrees, and respond to every point with passive aggressive insults makes them too pathetic to side with.

Maybe if Trump wins they'll reevaluate and learn to control their emotions.

Making policy based on religion is an emotional thing, and the Right has the lock on that

How is prioritizing the economy and military security "policy based on religion"?

As for abortion, calling out Democrats for prioritizing that over everything else isn't the same thing as putting that first myself (just the opposite).

As for Republicans that do put it first (polls show this is far less common than Democrats doing it), being against murder is not a religious idea. Many atheists are against murder. In fact, the Bible doesn't have any prohibitions against abortion specifically. All secular laws prohibit murder

Many of their policies are based on religion and fear and not harm reduction

Of course it is. It's entirely logical to follow God's command.
