Insomnia has plagued me for years. Anyone else?

No, but I do have trouble keeping my dick in my pants.

Not since I was prescribed trazodone. It's an antidepressant but it's often prescribed off label as a sleep aid because of how drowsy it makes you.

I tried that a few times, but the next day, I was so groggy that I could barely function. I slept really well, but the next day was hell. Does this happen to you?

Really? No, that has not been my experience at all. I get good sleep and feel rested in the morning. Was it prescribed to you for sleep or depression? My understanding is they tend to prescribe smaller doses for sleep, so perhaps it was a dosage issue? I'm on a relatively small dose myself (50mg but lately I've been taking 25 and it still helps)

For sleep. I might try to get Ambien, but I've heard it can be really strong.

I've heard too many sleep walking stories to ever try ambien myself, but I have no idea how common those kinds of reactions are in reality

for some time I've thought about getting a human sized cat bed and curl up in it. Well, more like a circular puffy comfy chair that I could put pillows and blankets on.

You can play simulated cat noise, with adjustable purr rates. Put your attention on it while curled up.

I do. It's better now that I have less sleep hallucinations

Drink chamomile tea before bed and name sure you're eating enough meat through the day.
