I've met dudes like that too. Nothing short of fluffing their peter for the great job they did ruining everyone else's day will make them happy. It works at least 30% of the time so they see the behavior as worth it.

I guess the global question is what to do with them? You really don't want them driving, bring morale down at a place of business, or live next door to them. I guess the natural order is they spiral out then end up on the streets in a few more years.
