Topic: Gender affirming medical care is likely subpar because we made it so.

Spironolactone is still commonly prescribed as a testosterone blocker despite the medical risks in taking it when there are much better alternatives that have numerous other uses for other ailments that are banned in the United States of America. It's like this country tries to sway people away from transitioning by making risky medications the only legal ones and prevents those suffering from serious illnesses or conditions from properly healing so hospitals could continue to make money.
I guarantee you if you visit Thailand 🇹🇭 they likely progressed in the level of quality when it comes to gender affirming care. Other countries also have much better healthcare systems for those severely ill than the United States. It's like we're purposely trying to kill off our own people.

Unlike the United States, Thailand does not allow people to change their gender because their government ultimately rejects the idea that gender is a personal choice. @OP wants the United States to be more like Thailand when transgender rights are decided.

transgenderism is a failure to integrate your mind and your body or a grotesque overindulgence of porn and/or internet. in both cases it is caused by a deeply held hatred of yourself, AE a mental illness. NOT something to persue, indulge, or affirm but rather to cure.
