There are creams for that. Iodine also works. You have to apply it a couple of times a day for several days. Also, try not to spread it. If that does not work, a doctor can prescribe something stronger, but iodine should do the trick.

Scratch it well and remove the skin from the ring. Then apply rubbing alcohol with a cotton ball. Do this 4 to 6 times a day. Make sure you scratch the skin off the ring so it look red and raw before applying the alcohol. It will clear it up in just 2 or 3 days.
