On a trip to England, I visited a friend who lives in basically a castle in the country. He had hunted grouse recently, and hung them. we enjoyed hung grouse. At firstK I was hesitant, but the flavor was delicious. He paired it with Bordeaux, but I think Champagne might have been better. Still, it was a wonderful experience. I even thought I saw a ghost in his opulent library. Do you enjoy hung grouse? An acquired taste? Perhaps, but delicious once you accept it.
